Our Nation’s Capital is emerging into a kind of energy centre with its own unique vibration and spiritual mission. In awakening towards its future destiny, Ottawa has the potential to serve as a spiritual hub for Canada, and potentially a consciousness leader for the world at large. The Awakening Ottawa Alliance is an exciting new collective that aims to oversee and facilitate this ongoing awakening process in terms of 6 guiding pillars:

Healing Ottawa Live Auction (HOLA) 

HOLA 2011 was a fundraiser to help launch an innovative holistic counselling centre concept. This Ottawa centre will provide affordable heart-centred counselling opportunities so that teens and young adults can find relief from mental health challenges while exploring their innate gifts and life aspirations. 

P.E.A.C.E Initiative

Planetary Emissaries Awakening Conscious Evolution is a science-based initiative to launch synchronized heart centred meditations in the Nation’s Capital. Extensive research suggests that a minimal threshold of individuals embodying heart coherence in a given geographical area (<1%) can reduce key indicators in the surrounding population (e.g., crime rates, hospital emergencies, car accidents). 

Spiritual Cinema

In the spring of 2008, Sacred Initiatives launched a Monthly Spiritual Cinema evenings that ran for 5 years in succession. In 2017, plans are under way to reawaken this cutting-edge movie series, featuring documentaries spanning a spectrum of consciousness raising topics (e.g., energy healing, spirituality, nutrition, peace building, evolution, conspiracy theory, ET contact, crop circles, sound healing, alchemy).

Spiritual Entrepreneur Speaker Series & Inn-Ovation Network 

Since the 1970s, there has been a new wave of spiritually gifted individuals incarnating on the planet. Our new monthly speaker series is designed to introduce exciting content from up-and-coming local Ottawa visionaries, healers, authors, and spiritual entrepreneurs. Session #1 is planned for March 2017. 

Science & Spirituality Speaker Conferences

Every year, Hay House offers their signature 'I Can Do It' Conferences throughout North America, including key Canadian cities. The Awakening Ottawa Alliance is partnering with Hay House to host Ottawa's first ever ‘I Can Do It’ conference, starting in the spring of 2019.

Free the Falls

​Algonquin Elder, William Commanda had a vision for the sacred Chaudiere Island Site. He proposed that 3 buildings be established Victoria Island, which sits on unceded Algonquin land: (1) Peace Building Centre, (2) Historical Interpretive Centre, (3) Aboriginal Healing Centre.  He also advocated that the Chaudiere Falls be restored to it's original free flowing state.
