Mental health issues have skyrocketed in Canada over the past couple of years, with cases of depression, anxiety, and isolation rising considerably. The pandemic situation has obviously been stressful to many people — for a variety reasons we won't go into here.
So how do we adapt to constantly changing outer circumstances that can trigger a chronic stress response? No doubt you've heard it before: One of the easiest ways to tap into a state of inner peace, mental calm, and physical relaxation is to participate in a short meditation ritual every day. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction techniques, for example, have proven to be quite helpful in this regard.
Heart Coherence practices, it turns out, may be even more effective in reducing overall stress levels. When in a state of coherence, the little 'brain-in-your-heart' automatically optimizes the functioning of your brain and autonomic nervous system — which in turn positively impacts your moods, mindsets, and physiology.
When you engage in a simple heart-based ritual daily, not only does it shift the day in your favour and help you to become more productive on all levels, it tends to infuse your personal interactions with more positive energy and thereby facilitates communication with others. Which can create a beautiful ripple effect.
The Canadian Heart Active PEACE Initiative Is a 21-Day Synchronized Heart Experience
I'd like to invite you to join us for the launch of an exciting new virtual PEACE Initiative in Canada: The Canadian Heart Active PEACE Initiative (CHAPI) is a 21-Day Synchronized Heart Coherence experience that anyone can participate in from the comfort of home.
Participation in this initiative only requires 15 minute per day of focused heart-centered attention at a time of your choosing (ideally the same time every day). The time of your meditation session is flexible and can be chosen from a list of six (1 hour) designated time frames: 7 am, 10 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, 7 pm, 10 pm. (EST) Time Zone. You'll find more details in the video below.
The following individuals may find themselves drawn to this peace initiative: energy healers, yoga instructors, experienced meditators, counsellors, holistic practitioners, empaths, and heart-centered entrepreneurs; essentially, anyone who is reasonably masterful with their emotions and can hold a peaceful vibration for a short span of time.
